Omnia Hits a Milestone

We can all probably agree that VoIP has taken a firm grip on the business community. This is reflected in the number of companies around the world realizing the many benefits that come from deploying VoIP communication systems; some of these benefits include: disaster recovery, significant decreases in long-term management costs, enhanced collaboration between geographically dispersed offices, enabling the virtual experience, improved productivity and overall better customer service. In other words, these communication systems are providing more than simple dial-tone; they have become a tool, with measurable benefits, for whomever uses them.

Omnia has seen its VoIP implementations grow dramatically over the last three years. This growth stems from many different factors, but a few of the major catalysts are: Omnia focuses solely on IP voice; we use the technology we sell, allowing us, like our customers, to be much more efficient, and we've developed a reputation for success.

We have recently hit a milestone at Omnia — our 70th IP PBX installation. In fact, our 70+ systems installed represent over 200 locations and over 20,000 total ports; all indications point to that number more than doubling by this time next year. As we look back to four years ago when we sold our first IP PBX, we can't help but reflect on how much we've learned. Certainly, the process of implementing and supporting these systems has taught us many valuable lessons, but it's what we've learned from our customers that has been invaluable in our growth and maturity.

Our goal is to continue to grow and mature. With this goal in mind, we have, over the last year, expanded our geographic footprint and made some tactical additions to our staff. On the geographic front, our expansion into Florida allows us to gain access to projects all along the East coast; doing projects in different areas of the country and in different vertical markets will continue to enhance our knowledge in the IP PBX arena and continually add value to our current and future customer base. The additions to our staff include two certified installation and support technicians in our corporate headquarters and one person hired for the purpose of installation support and training. With numerous projects on the horizon, we are committed to continuing our tradition of excellent support to our customers.
